One team member responsible for cooking one of the 26 cold dishes for the contest, Frida Bäcke made the decisive effort that brought the Swedish cookers the highest grade in the category.
Additionally, the Swedish chefs also demonstrated the best outcomes in the category warm kitchen. They came up with a duck breast with chocolate and mushrooms as well as almond bavaroise.

With more than 30 countries participating in the contest, the 2018 Culinary World Cup took place from the 24th – 28th of November 2018 in Luxembourg.
