Electrolux has already been recognized by several independent organizations as an industry leader in sustainability! However, now the company's experts have decided to take a holistic approach to sustainable development for the benefit of the entire planet.

Now Electrolux intends to draw the attention of the general public to the problems of healthy eating, an integrated approach to caring for clothes, and improving the home environment. It is now clear that the company intends to go further and scale up its commitment to sustainability! It is an invaluable contribution to the search for solutions to the key and global problems of the entire planet. The company's management intends to finance the Electrolux Food Foundation until 2030. The estimated budget is 100,000,000 SEC. It is also expected that additional funding will ensure the rapid development of sustainable nutrition principles.

We Have Already Set 4 New Sustainable Development Goals To Be Achieved By 2030!

The commitment to sustainable living has led us to identify 4 major challenges that we must achieve by 2030. At the same time, each of them corresponds to the UN sustainable development goals!

  1. Promote the principles of sustainable nutrition;
  2. Find solutions to extend the life of clothing and at the same time reduce the burden on the environment;
  3. Free your home from allergens and pollution;
  4. Provide business projects with the opportunity to neutralize.


We have focused our efforts primarily on our operations and the supply chain in society. These deliveries in 15% affect the environment and climate. Moreover, we are also concerned about the problems of energy consumption when using high technologies. And this is already 85% of the impact on the environment and climate. We intend to take a rigorous approach to manage the company's direct and indirect impact on the environment to ensure climate cyclicality and neutrality.

As part of The Better Living Program, we plan to complete a specific list of actions over 11 years, which will only grow over time. By 2030, it will have 100 points or 100 essential steps. Each step will bring us closer to achieving the four global goals. Large-scale change is not possible if we act alone. That's why we will work closely with partners, experts, influencers, and even other brands around the world.

  • Change your approach to nutrition. We will inspire people to eat in ways that benefit not only themselves but our planet. We will prove that healthy food can be nutritious, environmentally friendly, and incredibly tasty. With us, people will rediscover plant foods. In addition, we will try to teach the world to reduce food waste in every possible way;
  • Take good care of your wardrobe. We are constantly upgrading technology to help people properly care for clothes made from a wide variety of fabrics. The main goal is to extend the life of things and reduce the environmental impact by half. We also want to contribute to the development of a conscious approach to consumption, especially when it comes to clothing;
  • Make the air in your homes cleaner. As we work towards this goal, we will accelerate the development of solutions that enable more people to build healthier and greener homes.

We are committed to responsible manufacturing, sourcing, and technology solutions to minimize our climate impact and ensure zero waste in our factories. We want to produce solutions that are in line with the UN climate change agenda. So, we will try to offer business models that optimize the use of natural resources.
