Dishwashers From Electrolux Professional: Providing Farms

According to the results of the work of Swiss researchers at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, it can be concluded that as a result of the pandemic, people's consumer habits have changed a lot. Scientists made a survey and found that now people want to eat healthy food, which, ideally, will be grown by local farmers. Thus, the demand for products from farm shops in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany will increase.

Yogurt and milk are the most popular farm products. However, farmers are skeptical about the production of dairy products and the prospects for their sales. To sell such products, their package must meet the high requirements of modern food safety. It involves double efforts and financial costs. However, modern people are willing to pay for this, as long as they get healthy and safe products on the table. Electrolux Professional received and reviewed this request from the agricultural sector! During the work, several tests were carried out.

Auke Faber, DACH Food Service Division Manager, assured us that they got very convincing results. He says that the Electrolux Professional equipment will be able to wash even the dried-up remains of yogurt and milk. Naturally, we are talking about glass containers, as washing and rinsing take place at a 90-degree temperature. Under such conditions, contaminants have no chance to remain on the surface of the container.

Electrolux Professional experts used milk bottles and small and large yogurt glasses with dried product residues for the test. The test container halves were left to dry naturally for several hours. The other half of the contaminated container was dried at 120°. The container was then cycled through an Electrolux Professional Green&Clean drawer-type dishwasher and a EUCIADD dishwasher. Both wash and rinse dishes at 90°.

The results of these tests made the researchers very happy! Large milk bottles with a height of 260 mm and a hole diameter of 45 mm were washed for 15 minutes at 64°. After they were rinsed with water at 90°, no detergent remained on them. Large yogurt glasses (125 mm high, 60 mm diameter) and small yogurt containers (90 mm high, 47 mm diameter) were also washed for 10 minutes at 92°. Now Electrolux Professional is planning to mainstream the use of its dishwashers on farms. It will give good results, as farmers will offer consumers safe and healthy products!
